About Michelle

Michelle Lane is thrilled to have the opportunity to reprise a role that is incredibly dear to her with Panic! Productions. Michelle last played Diana at the extended-run at Pico Playhouse. She played to sold out audiences every night and received rave reviews as well as a BroadwayWorld Nomination for Lead Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Diana. Michelle is an Ovation Award Winner for her performance in the West Coast Premiere of Swing! at Musical Theatre West. Other West Coast Premieres: she played the lead, Alison in Suburb the Musical at the Long Beach Playhouse and Evelyn Nesbit inRagtime at Moonlight Amphitheatre.  She has lived and worked on both coasts and many cities in between. She was cast in the original Las Vegas company of Avenue Q. Immediately following Q, she continued her work with double EGOT winner Bobby Lopez to his new venture with his wife, Kristen Anderson Lopez in what was their first project together: Finding Nemo the Musical, where Michelle recreated Dory for the stage originating her first role for Disney. Her regional credits include: A Christmas Carol (Madison Square Garden), Winifred Banks in Mary Poppins (Cabrillo Music Theatre), Florence inChess (Gallery Players), Violet in Side Show (Weathervane Theatre), Amalia in She Loves Me (Sierra Repertory Theatre), Isabella in Measure for Measure (Arizona Repertory Theatre), Frau. Kost in Cabaret (Arizona Repertory Theatre), to name a few. Coming to theaters: indie horror feature film:Getaway.  TV: The Truth About Jane with Stockard Channing and RuPaul. She earned a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Arizona.
